Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch glass baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until a thick dough forms.
- Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 18–22 minutes until the center is set. Allow the brownies to cool completely.
Glazing
- In a small bowl, whisk the powdered sugar, strawberry preserves, and a small amount of milk until a thick glaze forms.
- Spread the glaze evenly over the cooled brownies and allow it to set before slicing.
Serving
- Slice into 16 squares and serve to reveal the soft, pink fudgy centers. You can enjoy them as is or add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top for an extra special treat.
Notes
Make sure to grease the baking dish well to prevent sticking. Allow the brownies to cool completely before adding the glaze for a smoother finish. If you want a stronger strawberry flavor, you can add extra strawberry preserves to the dough or glaze.
