Preparation
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the honey, cinnamon, and water.
  2. Heat over medium heat until the mixture comes to a gentle boil.
  3. Reduce heat and stir in the butter, vanilla extract, and salt.
  4. Let simmer for 5-10 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm over ice cream, pancakes, waffles, or drizzle over fresh fruit. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
