Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced Use for best flavor and tenderness.
  • 4 pieces hoagie rolls Can swap for different types of bread.
  • 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced Feel free to experiment with other cheeses.
Vegetables
  • 1 piece onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 piece bell pepper, thinly sliced Add mushrooms or jalapeños for variation.
Cooking Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For sautéing vegetables.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced onions and bell peppers; sauté until softened.
  3. In another skillet, cook the ribeye steak until browned, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Combine the steak with the sautéed peppers and onions.
  5. Place the mixture into halved hoagie rolls.
  6. Top with provolone cheese and place under a broiler until the cheese is melted.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

For storage, if you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in a skillet or microwave before serving.
