Ingredients
  

For the Salmon
  • 4 fillets Salmon fillets Opt for wild-caught if possible for the best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Can be substituted with melted butter.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced, use fresh for best results.
  • 1 zest Lemon Fresh lemon juice will also be used.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Essential for enhancing flavors.
For the Lemon Dill Butter
  • 1/2 cup Butter Softened.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh dill Chopped.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1 pinch Salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or zip-top bag and pour the marinade over them. Ensure they are well coated and let them marinate for 15-30 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, combine softened butter, chopped fresh dill, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Mix until well combined and set aside.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, and oil the grill basket if using.
Grilling
  1. Place the salmon skin-side down on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, until it flakes easily with a fork.
  2. Once the salmon is off the grill, top each fillet with a generous dollop of the lemon dill butter while still warm to allow it to melt.

Notes

Store leftover salmon in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Can be frozen for 1-2 months. Reheat gently to maintain moisture.
