Preparation
- Preheat your griddle or large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the shaved ribeye with salt and pepper. If you like, add sliced onions and bell peppers.
Cooking
- Cook the ribeye on the griddle until it’s browned and cooked to your liking.
- While the beef is cooking, split the hoagie rolls and butter the insides.
- Once the beef is nearly done, place slices of Cooper Sharp cheese on top and cover until the cheese is melted.
Assembly
- Assemble the sandwich by placing the beef and melted cheese into the hoagie rolls.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade griddled cheesesteak!
Notes
Feel free to load up on veggies like mushrooms or jalapeños for more flavor. If you have leftovers, wrap them in foil or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. To reheat, warm them in a skillet or on a griddle until heated through.
