  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
  2. Mash the avocado with a fork to your desired consistency.
  3. Add lime juice and diced jalapeño.
  4. Mix in salt and any optional ingredients like cilantro, tomato, or onion.
  5. Serve with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.

Notes

To keep guacamole fresh, store it in an airtight container with plastic wrap on the surface to prevent browning. Best consumed within two days. You can customize the guacamole by adding ingredients like chopped mango, diced pineapple, or black beans.
