Ingredients

Fresh Ingredients
  • 1 large Cucumber Choose firm, fresh cucumbers for the best flavor.
  • 1 whole Lime Fresh limes are best, but bottled lime juice can work in a pinch.
  • 1 cup Fresh Mint Can use basil or rosemary for a twist.
Liquid Ingredients
  • 4 cups Sparkling Water Feel free to switch to tonic water for a slightly different flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Simple Syrup Adjust to taste; you can make your own or use store-bought.

Method

Preparation
  1. Slice the cucumber thinly and cut the lime in half. Squeeze the juice from one half and set the other half aside for garnish.
  2. If using mint, pluck a handful of leaves.
Combine Ingredients
  1. In a pitcher, combine sliced cucumber, squeezed lime juice, and mint leaves.
  2. Pour in the simple syrup, adjusting to your taste for sweetness.
Finish the Drink
  1. Slowly add chilled sparkling water to the pitcher. Stir gently to combine.
  2. Pour the spritzer into glasses filled with ice. Garnish with additional cucumber slices and lime wedges. Enjoy!

Notes

Chill everything to keep your drink refreshingly cool. Adjust sweetness as needed, and experiment with additional flavors like strawberries or fresh basil.
