Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Trim the ends of the green beans and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Add olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the green beans evenly.
Cooking
- Spread the green beans on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the green beans are tender and starting to brown.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For a variation, add a squeeze of lemon juice or some chopped nuts like almonds or walnuts. Make sure not to overcrowd the baking sheet to help the beans get crispy.
