  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adjust the amount to suit your taste.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional) For added heat.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Can be substituted with feta or goat cheese.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim the ends of the green beans and place them in a bowl.
  3. Add olive oil, garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss to coat.
Cooking
  1. Spread the green beans on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  2. Roast in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, until tender and slightly caramelized.
  3. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
