Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine crushed hazelnuts, flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt.
- Add melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips if using.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Serving
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
These dessert bars are best served at room temperature. Dust with powdered sugar for elegance, or pair with ice cream or whipped cream.
